OUR MISSION
TCREA exists to provide support for the retired employees of Tulare County and their spouses, to include representation of their interests subject to the County Employees Retirement Act of 1937.
To provide information related to their retirement, and to promote social activities and programs that encourage strong health and welfare.
WHAT WE DO
The organization is overseen by a Board of Directors, who are elected annually by the general membership. The Board meets regularly during the year and hosts a number of general membership meetings (luncheons) annually.
The Tulare County Retired Employee’s Association is the official organization representing Tulare County’s retired employees, , and is recognized by both the Tulare County Employee’s Retirement Association (TCERA) and the California Retired County Employee Association (CRCEA).
OUR HISTORY
The Tulare County Retired Employee’s Association began in 1988 as an organization intended to support the retired employees of Tulare County.
In 1995, the organization received non-profit status (501c4) through the IRS and the CA Secretary of State. The Association is in good standing with both the IRS and the State of California.
